When Miranda first came to VRC, she was completely feral. She was terrified of new people, terrified of handling, and medical care was nearly impossible. She had the kind of fear that comes from surviving, not living — and it made her a harder placement.
Over the years, Miranda slowly let her walls fall. She learned that hands could be gentle, that people could be safe, and that she didn’t have to live braced for the worst. And in that space… she bloomed. She became goofy, affectionate, and so unbelievably magical in her own quiet way.
Today, Miranda is spending her golden years surrounded by people who adore her — sunbathing, napping, getting treats, and soaking in soft moments she once never believed she could have.
Miranda's health has been declining quickly,
We are hoping to help with assisting VRC with Miranda's vet costs as well as her end-of-life costs and to be able to help with keepsakes for the employees at VRC who love her, and will miss her dearly when she's gone.
