Villalobos Hospice Senior: Ruby Tuesday

Ruby has been with Villalobos Rescue Center since 2019 after a good Samaritan found her as a stray in New Orleans. No one came to claim her. 

Ruby has been a harder placement for adoption due to her anxiety issues. She doesn't like to be alone, or to be left out and struggled in the kennel environment. Two of our amazing employees took Ruby into their home, and learned how to navigate her anxiety with enrichment and stability.

Ruby recently was diagnosed with osteosarcoma (an aggressive form of bone cancer), and it has taken over. She is in good spirts. We aren't sure how much longer we will have with her, but we (Remember to Paws Inc.) want to assist Villalobos Rescue Center with her end-of-life costs, as well as any keepsakes her caregivers would like to honor her.
