What Is the Remember to Paws Community Outreach Program?
The Remember to Paws Community Outreach Program
offers compassionate support to families in our community who are facing the emotional and financial burden of saying goodbye to a beloved pet.
Through the Remember to Paws Foundation,
we collect funds that help assist or cover essential end-of-life costs — including veterinary visits, euthanasia, cremation, and memorial keepsakes — for families who otherwise couldn’t afford them.
It’s our way of ensuring that every pet receives a peaceful, dignified goodbye, and that no family has to navigate that heartbreak alone.
We honor one of the very first non-VRC pets to come through our Remember to Paws family — Buddha, the beloved companion of our dear friend Tyler here in New Orleans.
For 8.5 years, Buddha has been a constant presence: snoring loudly
through every yoga class and Thai yoga massage, finding comfort curled up beside another dog or cat, and greeting every visitor with a tail wag — even now, as his health has begun to rapidly decline. Tyler could truly use your support with Buddha’s end-of-life costs.
